Ernest Carl Gregory,Jr.,73, of Sanford,FL, passed away peacefully on June 3,2025 after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. A beloved husband,father and grandfather, Ernie will be remembered for his unwavering strength, gentle spirit, infectious humor and deep love for family.
Ernie lived a life marked by kindness, resilience and dedication to his work and family. He spent his life finding joy in small things and always had a positive outlook.
After being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, Ernie continued to face each day with grace, dignity, and a quiet bravery that inspired everyone around him. Never one to complain, he continued to live fully—cherishing time with loved ones, finding joy in small moments, and maintaining a sense of humor and compassion even in the face of adversity.
Ernie is survived by his wife, Sharon Gregory; daughters, Kara Knight (Gary Knight), Savannah Molihan(Logan Molihan); sons, Grant Gregory (Amy Gregory), Garrett Sykes (Jessica Sykes); brother, Robert Gregory (Gail Gregory); grandchildren, Quayde Knight, Summer Knight, Jackson Gregory, James Sykes; chosen grandchildren, Sophia and Manuel Reyes and was preceded in death by Ernest Carl Gregory, Sr., Joyce Gregory. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of life will be held privately by the family.
Ernie's life was a testament to love, perseverance, and quiet courage. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he left on our lives will never fade. He will always be in our hearts!
