Estelle B. Auster, 92 formerly of West Palm Beach died Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Winter Park, FL with her family by her side. Estelle was born September 27, 1919 in Toronto, Canada. She married the love of her life, Joseph Auster, and they lived in South Orange, NJ. In 1980 they moved to South Florida. Estelle, a gifted artist enjoyed painting people and landscapes and her oil and water color paintings adorn many homes across the country. She was the matriarch of the family and her uplifting and positive personality was infectious with everyone she met. Estelle was an avid golfer and she continued to play golf until her early 80's. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, and daughter, Phyllis, who died at age 36. After Joseph's death she met David Snow, an artist and sculpture in his own right, and they lived together until his death a few years ago. Estelle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marc and Gail Auster of Maitland, FL; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; brother, Marvin Barbach of Miami and niece and nephew. A life celebration will be planned in the near future.
