Eugene Louis Molnar, 70, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020 in Ormond Beach, Florida. He was born July 27, 1950 in Potsdam, New York to parents, Augustus and Dorothy Molnar. At 17 years of age he and his family moved to Girard, OH, where he met his loving wife Mary Anne (Shinas).

Gene was a loving husband and father, and a hardworking provider. He was full of knowledge which he used to quiz his children on their many long road trips. He was very thoughtful with his words and actions, had a kind heart, and always put others before himself. He tried to make light of any situation and was a comfort to many. Gene is dearly loved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed.

He worked for and retired from Coca-Cola, then went on to assist his wife Mary Anne with establishing a consignment business, Classic Consigned Furniture.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne, his son, Taylor, his daughter, Athena Merklin (Joe), and his grandchildren, Hunter and Hailee. He is predeceased by his parents and grandson, Zander Merklin. He is also survived by his sister, Marilyn Dubeansky, and brothers John, Bill (Nancy), Richard, David (Tracy), and Anthony, along with many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a monetary donation can be made to the family for funeral expenses.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place, 1185 W. Granada Blvd #11, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00pm, with gathering beginning at 1:30pm on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
