Eunice Caroline Moore 89, passed away peacefully at home with her closest family by her side on Monday October 16, 2023.

Eunice, known best by those who loved her and who she loved as Nanny was born June 5, 1934, in Clarence PA. to Elizabeth (Bessie) and Carl Moore. She embodied every aspect of the homemaker role; from decorating her home lavishly for holidays, to raising her children, she devoted herself to home and family.

In April 1961, she married the love of her life C. Frank Moore (Doc) of Beech Creek, PA. whom she met during his U.S. Naval career. After his retirement in 1969 they made roots in Jacksonville, Fl. where they raised their four children.

She enjoyed creating floral arrangements, painting ceramics, and shopping. Nanny will be most remembered for her love and tenacity for her family.

Eunice is proceeded in death by her husband of 32 years, C. Frank Moore along with her parents and six of her siblings; Gilbert, Fred, Walter, Melissa (Butch), Almeda (Speed), and Dorothy (Dutch).

She is survived by her children, Franklin Showers, Robert Showers, Cynthia Adamic, and Tammie Clark as well as her 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister Margaret Moore.
