Eva Kaye Clark passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday February 19th, 2026. She was 82 years old. She lived a life marked by resilience, devotion to family, and a deep appreciation for the connections that shaped her journey.

Eva was born on May 23,1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At the age of two, she was adopted after needing life-saving surgery. Though her early years began with uncertainty, her life unfolded with strength and grace. Decades later, in a remarkable turn of fate, she was reunited with her biological sister after 57 years apart. Through that reunion, she discovered a large extended family who welcomed her with open arms, creating cherished bonds that she held close to her heart.

In 1963, she met and married the love of her life, Ray Clark. Their marriage was one of enduring love and commitment that lasted until his passing in 2017. Throughout their early years, they would travel the world while he was in the Army. She was a loving mother to three beautiful daughters, Jilaine, Sheila and Cynthia, all of whom preceded her in death. Though she carried the profound grief of losing them, her love for her family never wavered and continues through the generations that follow. In 1976, Eva and her family would finally settle down in Southwest Florida, where they laid roots and the family began to grow.

Those who knew her will remember her strength, kindness, and the way she valued family above all else. Her story is one of perseverance, love, and the powerful bonds that connect us, even after many years apart.

While her family mourns her passing, they take comfort in imagining her reunited in heaven with her beloved family as well as the family members she was blessed to rediscover.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
