Evelyn(83) passed away peacefully on November 20 ^th with her family by her side.  Evelyn lived in New Smyrna Beach for over 30 years and was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Evelyn was a friend to all who knew her, a loving wife, sister, aunt, and mother of 4.  She enjoyed the beach and the local waterways spending many days with her husband John relaxing and crabbing.  She enjoyed bingo and loved spending time with her friends playing at various locations.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John George Rhody, her loving sister Valerie O'Leary, and her daughter-in-law Yolanda Rhody.  Missing her here on earth are her children Sean Rhody and wife Crystal, Steven Rhody and wife Jackie, Nancy Brown and husband Patrick and son Brian Rhody.  She leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Michael Rhody, Jordan Rhody, Kayley Rhody and Keegan Rhody as well as many nieces and nephews that she loved spending time with.  A service will be held at 11 am on December 21 ^st at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.  Flowers are limited at this site, in lieu of flowers a donation can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or to the Madison at Oviedo Holiday fund to honor those that cared for her over the last few months.
