Evelyn A. Verucci, 64, of Largo, FL, passed away peacefully with friends and family surrounding her on July 6, 2026. She was born in Delaware on January 16, 1962 to her parents, James and Frances Verucci, and graduated from Glasgow High School. She earned her associates degree at Delaware Technical Community College and had an extensive career as a legal secretary with Rissman Barrett Hurt Donahue McLain and Mangan, PA Law Firm in Tampa, FL. Evelyn was an avid music lover and enjoyed learning about the psychology of serial killers, as well as reading murder thriller novels, especially by Stephen King. More than anything, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved granddaughters. 

Evelyn is predeceased by her spouse, Gary Russnak; her brothers, John and Michael Verucci; and her parents, James and Frances. She is survived by her children, David and Crystal Russnak; her granddaughters, Lyric V and Amina J; and her siblings, Christine R, Robert V, and Linda B.

Services will be held privately for the family.
