With heavy hearts, we announce that Evelyn Doyle Williams, 78, passed away on January 17, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Evelyn was born on June 28, 1947, to John and Evelyn Doyle, in Jersey City, NJ. She graduated high school from St. Dominic Academy. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from NJ State Teacher’s College and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a caring guidance counselor in the Vernon Township School district for over 30 years and provided counseling services at Sussex County Community College before retiring to Florida.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Robert Williams, of Bradenton, FL, her sister Maureen Rhein, of Port Orange, FL, her son Ian Hanf, his wife Erin Winter, and their children Tanner and Madison of Flagstaff, AZ and her daughter Lauren Pizzone, her husband Michael and their children Liliana and Sierra, of Long Valley, NJ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Boylan Doyle and John Doyle, her son, Eric Hanf, and her sister, Kathleen Bisozio.

She lived a life of compassion, strength, resilience, and a deep devotion to her family. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered for her thoughtfulness, kindness, and loyalty. A private celebration of her life will take place in the future.
