In Loving Memory of Firouzeh and Manouchehr Dashtaki

With profound sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Firouzeh Dashtaki, who passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 86, and her beloved husband, Manouchehr Dashtaki, who followed her on June 3, 2026, at the age of 95. Married for more than 60 years, they shared a lifetime of devotion, partnership, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Though they left this world only four days apart, their bond remains inseparable, just as it was throughout their lives.

Firouzeh and Manouchehr are survived by their loving daughters, Fariba Hough and Azita Dotiwala; their sons-in-law, Farhad Shahbazian and Firdaus Dotiwala; and their adored grandchildren, Zoë Hough, Sara Hough, and Arish Dotiwala, who were the pride and joy of their lives.

In 1979, Firouzeh and Manouchehr made the courageous decision to leave Iran and begin a new life in the United States. Driven by their unwavering commitment to family, they sought to provide their daughters with greater opportunities, a quality education, and the promise of a brighter future. Through determination, hard work, and sacrifice, they built a life rooted in love, resilience, and hope.

Firouzeh was the heart and soul of the family. Her gentle spirit, kind heart, and selfless nature touched everyone who knew her. She found joy in caring for others and had a remarkable ability to make family, friends, and even strangers feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Her warmth filled every room, and her compassion left a lasting impression on all whose lives she touched.

Manouchehr was the family's steadfast foundation. With quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering integrity, he dedicated his life to providing for and protecting those he loved. He was a source of guidance, encouragement, and unconditional support, always ready with thoughtful advice and a reassuring presence. His devotion to his family never wavered, and his legacy of strength and perseverance will continue to inspire generations to come.

Together, Firouzeh and Manouchehr beautifully balanced one another. Through every challenge and triumph, they created a home filled with love, laughter, generosity, and acceptance. Their door was always open, their hearts always welcoming. Family and friends alike found comfort, support, and belonging in their presence.

While their passing leaves an immeasurable void, their legacy lives on through the values they instilled, the lives they touched, and the family they cherished above all else. Their love story—a story of devotion, sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering partnership—will continue to inspire all who knew them.
