Florence Lee Hesser, 83, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in Port Charlotte, after a lengthy illness.

She loved animals and music. She also loved to travel.

She was born in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hesser was a resident of Arcadia, Florida for over 36 years.

She is survived by her husband George John Hesser, three step-daughters, Kathy Anderson of Penndel, PA, Kimberly Prentiss of Langhorne, PA and her husband Bill and Tammy Marcolongo of Philadelphia, PA. Sister Bonnie Monroe of Port Charlotte, FL and her husband Larry and two brother-in-laws Robert Hesser and wife Jeanette Hesser of Penndel, Pa, along with William Hesser of Penndel, PA. She had one niece, Virginia Nierop, of Punta Gorda, FL, and her husband Robert. She was preceded in death by step-daughter Kay Hesser of Langhorne, PA. Penny will be missed by many nephews, grandchildren and friends.
