Floyd Dale Silver of New Smyrna Beach, FL, went to be with his lord and savior Sunday July 31, 2022.

Born in Greenville S.C. in 1929. Floyd was a United States Army veteran and served in the Korean conflict in an evacuation hospital or M.A.S.H unit. Floyd was a real estate broker in the Roanoke, VA area for 40 years before retiring to New Smyrna Beach.

Son of the late Luther B. Silver and Edna Suddeth Silver. He was predeceased by a son, Barry Silver. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Carolyn Nicely Silver, his son, Stephen Silver, his daughter, Robin Tester, five grandchildren, Brandon Tester, Ryan Tester, Barry Silver, Sydney Silver, Sarah Silver and 3 greatgrandchildren.
