Frances Elizabeth Rhoton, 87 of Northville, Michigan and Ft. Myers, Florida died Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Fran was born in Detroit, Michigan November 15, 1931. She graduated from Cooley High School and received her Bachelor  of Science degree from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

She was an avid tennis player, golfer, gardener, sun worshipper and animal lover.

Fran loved her family, husband, kids, grand children and great grandson. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ray, son Brad (Rose) Rhoton from Houston, Texas, daughter Kathy (Jeff) Johnston from Novi, Michigan, grand children Chelsea (Tyler) Uphaus, Haley, and Connor Johnston, and great grandson Landon Uphaus. Also survived by her sister,  Virginia (Bill) Glencorse, nieces, Linda (Kelly) Rinnan, Bonnie (Steve) Oke, Lauri (Gary) Wakefield and Pattie Glencorse.

Fran will be remembered by her great outlook on life, laugh, optimism and sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held in June in Novi, Michigan.
