IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank
Carrasquillo
April 30, 1976 – July 13, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frankie Carrasquillo, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 49.
Born on April 30, 1976, in Boynton Beach, Florida to Marina Gonzalez, Frankie proudly served his country as a United States Marine. During his time he received a Rifle Sharpshooter badge and a National Defense Service Medal. His strength, loyalty, and resilience defined not only his time in the service but his life as a whole.
Frankie faced many ups and downs, but he met each challenge head-on. No matter what life threw at him, he pushed through with a quiet determination that those closest to him will never forget.
He is survived by his children, Gabriel Carrasquillo of Umatilla, Florida and Serena Estes of Louisville, Kentucky; his beloved mother, Marina Gonzalez of Mount Dora, Florida; his siblings Juan Serrano of Eustis, Florida;, Lourdes Price and her husband Michael of Citrus Heights, California; Wil Montero of Pensacola, Florida; Jay "Junior" Montero and his wife Lisa of Groveland, Florida; Hope Reaves of Tavares, Florida; Madeline Piper and her husband Victor of Jacksonville, Florida; Richard Gonzales and his wife Mary of Miami, Florida; and Raymond Carrasquillo of Tavares, Florida; as well as a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces, a great-nephew, and cousins.
Among all his siblings, Frankie shared an unbreakable bond with his brother Raymond — his "ride or die." Though they often butted heads, they were inseparable, always by each other's side through thick and thin.
Frankie had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace in fishing, boating, and bike riding — especially when he could share those moments with the people he loved. One of his proudest and most meaningful memories was building a boat with his son, Gabriel — a project that gave them time, connection, and lasting memories.
Frankie will be remembered for his grit, his heart, and the love he carried for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of strength and perseverance that will live on in all who knew him.
