Hass, Frank Peter, 44 went to be with the lord on Friday, May 4th, 2012 at Dr. P. Phillips Hospital in Orlando, Florida, after a valiant battle with cancer. Frank proudly served in the United States Marine Corps after graduating from Dixie Hollins High School. After his service in the military, Frank went on to receive his Electrical Engineering B.S. degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering and later his Masters from University of South Florida. While his career took him many places, his final employment was with Oceaneering Entertainment Systems in Orlando, Florida. It was there that Frank obtained his "dream job", being afforded the opportunity to design and work on theme park attractions all across the world. Frank is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tamara; his children, Olivia, Sophia, and Frank II. He was a loving son to Francis Hass of St. Petersburg, Florida and Geraldine Wimmers of Orlando, Florida, as well as proud brother to Janet and Laura both of Clearwater, Florida. Frank also leaves behind six nieces and nephews that he cherished, and an enormous amount of friends and family that loved and respected him. This world certainly lost a remarkable man and many will mourn his loss.
A memorial service will be held for Frank on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established for the Hass Family children.
