Obituary

Frank Anthony Lombardo, 67, died on November 24, 2024 at his home in Palm Bay, FL following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Lombardo was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Deltona, FL when he was 13. He spent six years in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Sturgeon as a nuclear power plant operator. Following the Navy, he attended the University of Florida, earning a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Mr. Lombardo later earned a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of South Florida. An engineer at Harris Corporation throughout his career, he retired after thirty years.

Frank will be remembered for his love for his family and Jesus; his servant's heart, his integrity, strong work ethic, and his good sense of humor. He enjoyed building and flying RC helicopters and planes, skillfully fixing practically everything, and working on projects with his close friends. Some of Mr. Lombardo's best memories were made during semiannual camping/kayaking trips across Florida with the Gore's Crew.

Mr. Lombardo is survived by his wife, Hope, two sisters, four daughters, two sons, three sons-in-law, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A special thanks to our Grace Bible Church family whose prayers and acts of kindness supported us throughout Frank's health challenges.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Bible Church, located on Bayside Lakes Blvd. in Palm Bay on January 12, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.. Please join us in honoring Frank's life.
