Obituary

Frank Edward McGrail , 89, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024.

He was born in Hudson, Wisconsin to Edward and Mina McGrail . Frank was one of three children. He received a degree in liberal arts from the University of Minnesota, and later was a trombonist in the U.S. Army Band.
Frank married his first wife Elayne and they raised a family of 8 children; Ellen McGrail (Tony Gordon), Patricia Scott, Gregory McGrail (Susan), Martha Skeeters (Mike), Jennifer Grimmer (Doug), David McGrail , Dewey McGrail and Molly McGrail .
Frank's career in insurance took the family from Minnesota to Texas to Georgia. After Elayne's death, Frank moved to The Villages, Florida and married Dorothy Fleming. Dorothy has 4 children from her first marriage; Tom, John, Pam and Sandy.
Frank and Dottie spent the last 20 years together in The Villages, "where it's always a beautiful day", which was one of his favorite sayings.
Frank is survived by 7 of his children, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by Elayne Esterley McGrail and Molly McGrail .
Respecting Franks' wishes, there will be no funeral services.
