Frank David McKinney Sr. Of Orlando, FL , went to be with the Lord August 11, 2026.
Born in Kissimmee, FL. Grew up in Orlando. David attended Lake Silver, Robert E. Lee, Edgewater HS and
graduated for University of Florida. He worked for Scott Paper, later started his long career in the insurance business at J. Rolfe Davis Insurance. Eventually he ran and co-owned the company. David was very involved in community
affairs. Serving on numerous bank boards, school and college boards, President of the EDC, and an Elder at
First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
He enjoyed traveling , playing golf, going to Gator games, swimming with his beloved black lab Maggie.
Most of all he loved fishing and hunting with his sons David and Chris.
David was a people person, he loved the Lord, his family and friends. He adored and so loved his sweet little granddaughter
Sophie. He started his mornings sitting by the Aura looking at her pictures.
We will all miss our father, husband, friend and family member. We know David is with the Lord Jesus and all is good.
His room was ready. ✝️
