Mr. Fred L. Bowman, age 91, was born in Roanoke, Virginia and passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Cora Bowman, and his brother, Harold Bowman.

Fred is survived by his wife, Vergieta Bowman, his sons, Roger Bowman and Rodney Bowman, his brother, Kenneth Bowman, and his niece and nephew.

Fred was in the United States Army and served in Korea. Following his discharge from the military, Fred became a Real Estate General Contractor in Virginia. Fred enjoyed the country life, especially the deer hunting and fishing with his lifetime best friend Herm Reavis. When Fred retired in his 50's, he travelled internationally before retiring to Florida. He loved the beach. He was also an avid gardener and cook.

He shared his life with Vergieta and they enjoyed their years of living in Daytona. He was a good husband and a good provider. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed. He loved life and lived his life to the fullest.
