Life Celebration for Frederick H Newcomb, Jr, 70 New Smyrna Beach FL who passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 18 at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. Frederick was born in Brockton, Massachusetts. He served our nation in the US Navy.  He worked at Quincy General Dynamics, was a clerk at Dollar General and later retired from Volusia County Schools where he was a maintenance worker. He enjoyed fishing and sci-fi. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather to Donna his wife of 46 years, children Frederick Newcomb, III and wife Melanie, Jim Newcomb both of North Carolina and grandchildren Nathan Alekna, Liam Newcomb Shaelyn Newcomn. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to American Cancer Society.
