Garreth W. Morrill passed away on March 16, 2025 at the age of 78 in Fort Meyers Florida.
He was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Russell Morrill and Margaret (Siverly) Morrill. He attended schools in Kenosha Wisconsin and loved to share stories of his adventures with friends during his time at Hillcrest Elementary and Bradford High. Gary was a dedicated paint chemist for many years. He worked hard at many jobs to put himself through college and was an inspiration to others pursuing a better life through education.
He had a passion for writing. He wrote a hunting and fishing column for the Kenosha Bulletin, a weekly paper in the 1980s. He loved playing golf, cards and word games. He also had a great sense of humor which he shared with family, friends and anybody else he met along the way.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Mann) Morrill, his daughters, Theresa (Jacques) Van Landuyt, Carol (Matt) Jensen, his step daughter, Lisa (Scott) Anderson, his grandchildren, Ricardo (Jandel) Tagliapietra, Scott Jensen, Brian Jensen, Melanie (Dino) Becerril, Darrell Van Landuyt and Jenna (Charles) Lunsman, his great grandchildren, Rhyen Kelly, Kayla Tickler, Kerry Becerril, Kristina Becerril, Abby Van Landuyt, Lucy Lunsman, Corbin Lunsman, and Eleanor Lunsman, his sister, Linda Wickline and his brother, Daniel (Luanne) Morrill,
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Russell Morrill, Margaret (Siverly) Morrill, his stepmother, Charlotte (Zell) Morrill, his sister Bonita Morrill, his brother James (Butch) Morrill, and his stepson Scott Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at Saint Hillary's Episcopal Church, 5011 McGregor Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33901 on Friday April 4th at 11:00am. Internment to follow in Saint Hillary's Columbine. Family and friends invited.
