Garry was born in Charlotte, NC December 1, 1953. He was a home builder of log cabins in Georgia at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeffrey Lee Bennett and father George G Bennett. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Janice, mother Shirley Dellinger Bennett, sons Chad (Tera) Uptergaft, David Tate, daughters Amy (Birke) McNeill, Lauren Bennett, Andrea (Matt) Kalinich and grandchildren Kaitlyn and LucyMcNeill and Haley and Gibson Uptegraft.
