Gary Richard Drew, 58, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Gary was born on July 16th, 1968, in East Orange, NJ to Nancy Sincock and the late Raymond Drew. He grew up in Kearny, NJ. 

In addition to his father, Gary is preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Drew.

 Gary is survived by his loving family, siblings Diane, Bob and Carol, nieces Dawn, Taylor and Sapna, nephews Stephen, Ryan, Ricky, and Christopher along with many friends. 

Gary lived a life of deep kindness, helping others without needing praise or credit. Gary’s gentle heart and steady hands left our world better, and his quiet love and genuine smile will stay with us forever. He always showed up to celebrate all our accomplishments. We will especially miss his peaceful presence during happy times. 

Gary loved to fix anything. He enjoyed building something right out of his head. Gary loved Football, Racing, strategy games, fishing, animals, and especially our family and children. 

In Gary’s final act of kindness, he donated his liver and kidneys, changing the lives of three different people. 

We love you forever, Gary Drew. 

A celebration of Gary’s life will be held on October 10, 2026, from 1-4 pm at American Legion post 242 700 Newark Pompton Turnpike Pompton Plains, NJ 07444
