Gary Rolland Headley Sr passed away for this earth Thursday June 5, 2025, at his home in Port Orange FL, surrounded by his loving wife Sara, daughter Kimberly Headley, son Gary Jr, son Sean Headly and daughter in law Veronica Headley and his Great grandson Sean Headley III. Gary's greatest wish was to be surrounded in Love and Peace at home with his Loved Ones. Together Forever.

Gary was born July 2, 1947, in Fairbury Ill., son of Burthel R Headley and Elenore Lowery Headley. He married his hometown sweetheart Sara Welch, on August 6, 1965, at the Bible Baptist Church, Champaign, Ill.

Survivors are his wife, two sons Gary R Headley II, Sean M (Veronica) Headley and a daughter Kimberly Jo Headley (Spencer White). All of Daytona Beach Area.

Six Grandchildren Bobbie Jo (Robert) Barker, Dania Bch Fl, Deanna Headley (Damian Davis) , Ft Lauderdale, Fl. Sean Headley Jr. Morehaven, Fl., Lorraine Headley, Sebring Fl. Sara Nicole Headley (Dawson Lauper) Middleburg ,.Fl., Nathan Headley (Brittany Campbell) Palatka, FL. And two step grandchildren Ben and Eli Powell Ormond Bch. FL.

Nine Great grandchildren. Sean Michael Headley III Port Orange Fl. Bryce Barker Dania Bch Fl. Reanna, Jordan & Jasmine Davis Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Logan Headley, Christopher Jr, Luna & Giovanni Gaston of Sebring Fl.

Five siblings Marilyn Maxine Dalton, Tolono, Ill. Jeffery (Christina) Headley Rantoul, Ill, Brian (Alice) Headley, Champaign, Ill Edward (Patty) Headley, Urbana, Illinois. Teresa Jordan, Texas. Brother-in-law Chris Taylor, Rantoul, Ill.

He leaves his only aunt, Mary Lowery of Grayville, Ill., many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, four siblings baby sister Linda, Regina Arlene Taylor, Robert Headley and Arnold Headley.Gary moved from Sadorus, Ill. in 1983 to Daytona Beach Florida to be near family. He worked for Smokey Yunick as a diesel repair mechanic. He later opened Volusia Truck & Tractor with many famous racing teams bringing business to his shop
