George Eugene Clineman, Jr., passed away peacefully on September 18, 2026, in Ormond Beach, Florida. Born on August 24, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to George Sr. and Eileen (Hedberg) Clineman, he moved with his growing family to Crystal Lake, Illinois, where he attended high school and college classes. He later made Florida his home, where he met and married his wife, welcomed twin daughters, and built his highly successful business, South Florida Drywall Systems, Inc. In retirement, he enjoyed restoring his 1964 Chrysler 300K Ram Induction, exploring the Maine coastline, spending time at their cottage on Campobello Island, New Brunswick, and creating cherished memories with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sherry Clineman of Ormond Beach, Florida; his daughters, Christy Clineman and Cindy Clineman, both of Orlando, Florida; his sister, Joan (Clineman) Dietrich of Sebastian, Florida; and his brother, Scott Clineman, of Deerfield Beach, Florida.

A private memorial service will be held by the family. George and Sherry gave to several charities. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of George’s memory, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

George was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who will be remembered with much love and gratitude. A life well lived!
