George Thomas Lamirata 77, went home to be with Jesus on July 13, 2025 after an eighteen-month battle with cancer.

He is survived by wife husband for 56 years of June Marie Lamirata. He was a devoted father of Christopher George Lamirata and grandfather to Mary Elizabeth Lamirata and Owen Christopher Lamirata. He is also survived by brother Robert Lamirata.

His wife and son were by his side as he left this earth for glory.

George was born in Brooklyn, NY, moved to Allamuchy, NJ and in 1984 moved to Merritt Island, FL. He has lived in Bradenton, FL for 23 years

George was in the US Army 1967-1969 and was Viet Nam Veteran who served his country proudly.

We, his family, were blessed to have been given these many years to spend with, love and enjoy with him.
