Obituary

George Arnold Lehor of Ormond Beach, Florida passed peacefully at 88 years young into the arms of his Lord at his home. At his side was his wife, daughter, and son in law on his most favorite day of the year, Christmas Eve, as that is when our family gathered to open Christmas presents.

George began his career as an apprentice tool and die maker at Cutler Hammer in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Later he became a time study manager for this company as well.

His crowning achievements aside from his beautiful family, were that of being the founding father of the Employee Leasing industry in South Florida in 1969, as well as the President of the Florida Trucking Association. He served as President of the FOPA for many years in Coral Gables, FL and was a Finance committee member on the board of the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches. George also served on the missions' board at Life Church Assembly of God for many years as well as Christ for the Nations. He participated in The Million Man March on Washington DC.

George was the most gentle and loving man who loved God with all his heart and family was everything to him. He mentored many who sought his advice and as he was blessed, he blessed others.

George loved deep sea fishing, but more than that he loved to share that experience with others. During their trips to Bimini, he would be their awesome cook as cooking was another passion of his. He also enjoyed freshwater fishing with the guys in Boise, Idaho. He remained an avid golfer up until a month before he passed and had two holes in one at The Villages Executive golf courses.

George is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Geraldine, and his three favorite daughters, Debra Girard (Steven) of Ormond Beach, FL, Dawn Mozealous (James Douglas) of Miami, FL, and Susan Enayat (Ali) of Miami, FL, as well as his favorite grandson, Ryan Girard of Petaluma, CA., and favorite granddaughter, Jennifer Pike (Adam Creighton) of Morrisville, VT, and his favorite great granddaughter, Karra Pike and favorite great grandson, Aven Pike of Morrisville, VT. He is also survived by his brother, John Lehor of Orlando, FL.

His love of children led to his dinner table conversation every night, which was full of concern for the Youth Ranches and how their donations are being affected by COVID-19. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, and in accordance with George's wishes, please donate to the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches- Sorensen camp matching gift campaign .

We know we will be with you once again so for now we will not say goodbye, but we'll see you when we are called home.

Leaving with his daily scripture that George said every morning, 2 Timothy 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind."
