George Edward Marsh, age 81, passed away on August 17, 2021.

George is survived by his wife, Diane Pauline (Mack) Marsh of 58 years; his children, Janet Neeka, Edward (Carol) Marsh, Darrin (Teresa) Marsh, and Jodi (late Armando) Galeas; his sister, Sister Marilynn Marsh; his grandchildren, Ashley Marsh, Darrin (Haley) Marsh Jr., Stacy Neeka, Clayton Marsh, Olivia Marsh, Ethan Marsh, and (late) Liam Marsh; his future grandson-in-laws, Luis Rivera and Alexander Peyton, and his great-grandchild, Lucas Marsh. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Marsh, his mother, Matilda Marsh, and his sisters, Betty (Chuck) Fiedler and LaVerne (Rich) Pacewic.

George was born on June 14, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the United States Navy in 1958-1961. He graduated from Moraine Valley Community College with a degree in accounting.

George was a great family man and a loving husband, father, papa, uncle, and great-papa. He married Diane Mack on November 24 ^th , 1962 and the couple had four children together. They had 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He enjoyed being with his family and gardening. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, caring and devoted person.

A funeral is attended to be scheduled for August 17 ^th , 2022 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in Mims, Florida. Time will be announced at a later date. All are welcome to attend and celebrate George's life.
