George Sherlin Jr.

April 16, 1944 – April 30, 2022

It grieves me deeply to inform family and friends of the passing of George Sherlin Jr., my loving husband of thirty-seven years.

George Sherlin, Jr. was of strong religious beliefs, a gentleman and a kind soul.     Throughout his life his religion, wisdom and general knowledge of life experiences were shared with the purpose of helping others.

George always took pleasure in all sorts of nature, whether it be relaxing or participating. Farming and cultivating, playing music, dancing, playing pool, golfing, horseback riding, swimming and being at the ocean were to name a few.

George was born in Asheville, Madison County, North Carolina and resided in Titusville, Brevard County, Florida.

George is survived by his endearing family:  his wife, Jennie Marie McAuliffe-Sherlin, sisters Betty Ann Wheeler and Kathy Jane Wills, sons Christopher Neal Sherlin and Jeffery Scott Sherlin, daughter Melissa Ann Sherlin, as well as aunts, uncles, grand and great grandchildren and multiple friends.

George was predeceased in death by his father, George Sherlin Sr., his mother, Eliza Marie Fisher Sherlin, and his brother, Howell Richard Sherlin.

He will be greatly missed.
