George A. Sulkess, 91 of Summerfield, FL passed away at his home on May 12, 2023 at 2:47 pm. George was born on April 29, 1932, in Salem, MA. George had a heart of gold and a sense of humor to match. He enjoyed participating in sports especially bowling, baseball and hockey. After serving in the United States Navy he went on to a career in Aerospace. Survivors include his wife and soulmate of 40 years (Fran Sulkess). Two beautiful daughters Donna (Michael) Quadrino, Joan (Kenn) Irick. Sons Mitchell (Theresa), Sulkess, Glenn Sulkess, and David (Stephen) Strulson. Grandchildren Jennifer, Mitchell Jr, Jaime, Jenni, Joseph, Brian, Julia, Luci and Nate; Great grandchildren Mikayla, Lily, Cameron, Emma and Amelia. A service will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Florida National Cemetery at 2pm followed by a celebration of life gathering at his home in Summerfield.
