George Clarence Wall July 19, 1943 – April 23, 2025 George Clarence Wall, age 81, of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, George was known for his steady presence, sharp sense of humor, and generous heart.
Born on July 19, 1943, in Columbus Georgia to Lofton Wall Sr. and Mae Welch Wall. George dedicated his life to hard work, strong values, and simple pleasures with those he loved most.
He began his career in the Electrical trade and completed the Electrical Apprenticeship program as a Journeyman Electrician in 1968. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) local union 613 in Atlanta Georgia for over 50 years. He spent much of his career with Walt Disney World as a High Voltage Power Distribution Technician with Reedy Creek Energy Services.
George had a lifelong love for chess, golf, softball, and bowling. Whether enjoying a game with friends, competing in local leagues and clubs, or cheering from the sidelines, sports brought George a deep sense of connection, friendship, and happiness. He was also an avid sports fan, following The Alabama Crimson Tide and The Atlanta Braves with great enthusiasm throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Wall, and his cherished daughter, Neta Wall-Proctor. Their memory remained central to his life and spirit.
He is survived by his sister Mary Jane McDaniel, Betty Sue Hammond, and brother Lofton Wall Jr., and extended family who will continue to honor his memory. He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia Waites and brother William Wall.
Per his wishes, George will be cremated and there will be no formal services or viewing at this time.
He will be remembered for his quiet strength, warm smile, and the deep love he had for his family.
His family would like to thank all who shared in his life and memories.
