GARRETT Gerald "Jerry", age 78, of Edgewater passed away on November 21, 2016. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda; son, Michael (Teri); daughter Michelle (Michael) Kasprzyk; grandson, Wyatt Thomas Garrett; sister, Margaret Thomas; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, John J Garrett III and Daniel Garrett and two wives Joan and Linda Marie.  Jerry served our nation in the US Navy. He was a UAW Retiree, Local 897 from the Ford Motor Company with 31 years of service before moving to Florida in 1990.  He was active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Post # 4089 in Port Orange, FL, the AmVets Post #911 in Port Orange, FL and the Skydivers Over 60 Club.  His hobbies included motorcycle riding, golf and bowling. A service celebrating the life of Jerry will be held at a later date.
