IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald F.
Hepp
December 12, 1941 – June 27, 2023
Gerald F. Hepp of New Smyrna Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 27, 2023. He was 81 years old. Born on December 12,1941. He resided in Riverside, New Jersey. He attended Camden Catholic High School in Camden. Served in the Army as an instructor at West Point. He raised his family in Edgewater Park and Medford New Jersey until moving to New Smyrna Beach Florida working as Vice President of International Sales in Computer Softwares. While working internationally he would always be sure to bring home souvenirs for his wife and six children. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Many Sunday football games and get togethers as an Eagles fan! The annual Hepp summer cookout. Going on hunting trips with family and friends. Many family vacations. Jerry enjoyed running on the beach and always made sure to stop and pick up a shell, one shaped like a heart for his loving wife and the others saved for the next visit from the friends and family he loved. He was one of the 5,558 runners in the first ever Disney Marathon. Holidays were very important and celebrated to the fullest. Watching his children and grand children play sports, while always wearing a team shirt and hat. Jerry was an Usher at Our Lady Star of the Sea. Jerry leaves behind a devoted wife, Gayle, Children, Mary Hepp, Kim Reardon (Dean), Kathy Gillis ( Steve), Heather Leggio (John), Tara Harty (Aaron) and Jerry Hepp (Tiffany). Grand Children Brittney, Justin, Chelsea, Hailey, Madison, Autumn, Noah, Mia, Jake, Dylan, August, Charlotte, and Aidan. Great Grandchildren Ronan, Landon, Liberty, Harper, Maeve, Jameson and Hazel. Son to the late Gerald A. Hepp and Frances V. Hepp and brother to the late Patti Hepp. Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady Star of the Sea, in New Smyrna Beach and laid to rest Saint Peter's Cemetery in Riverside, New Jersey. His family has requested that you "take the time to pick up a shell" to create a memory!
