Gerald "Jerry" Perrotta, 72, passed away at his residence on July 25, 2020. Jerry is survived by his wife, Rose Perrotta; mother, Leonarda Perrotta; sister, Francine Perrotta (Bill Hurtt); children Gerald Perrotta, Jr. (Tonya), Lisa Perrotta (Jerry Morgan), Brian Perrotta, Tricia Rich, Kimmy Martin; grandchildren Matthew Morgan, Jordan Anderson, Hunter Morgan, Dallas Duncan, Jared Rich, Tiara Rich, Lea Rich, Zachary Martin, Paige Martin, Faith Martin; great-grandchildren Aidan and Kingsley; nephew Anthony Lopilato (Lorraine Lundon); niece Christine Lopilato (Sam Cosby); and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Perrotta; paternal grandparents, Gennaro and Rose Perrotta; and maternal grandparents, Leonardo and Frances LaVardera. Born August 17, 1947 in the Bronx, New York and raised on Long Island, New York, Jerry graduated from North Babylon High School in 1965, and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1965, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. Jerry married Susan Griffin and became a devoted father to his three loving children. Jerry was a local businessman for several years before relocating to Ocala, Florida where he met and married Rose Rich. He was a hard-working man before retiring to enjoy his favorite pastimes of family, fishing, and classic corvettes. His family and friends will always remember him as a great family man, loving husband and father, and devoted friend. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home from 10 AM until 12 Noon.
