Gerald Thomas (Jerry) Waters, age 86, died unexpectedly in his home in Cocoa, Florida on February 26 ^th , 2024. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Nancy A. (Marino) Waters and left behind a loving and devoted family to continue his legacy of the love of life.

Born to Paul M. and Dorothy M. (McCormick) Waters in Baltimore, MD,  Jerry was preceded in death by brothers Paul and David Waters and sisters Carole Jean Murray and Janet Wheeler. He is survived by sisters, Dorothy Mae Miller, Wilma Burgoon and brother, Raymond Waters along with many nieces and nephews.

Jerry's marriage to Nancy included three children, six Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren, all who are the lights and shining stars of their union.

Theresa (Terri) M. (Waters) Gridley and husband Patrick, their children, and families; daughter Amanda (Slagle) Rauenzahn and husband Matthew and their children Grayson and Caroline and son David Slagle, Jr., and his wife Catherine.

John D. Waters Sr. and his wife Lisa (Dellape), their children and families; sons John Waters Jr., Alexander Waters and his wife Jessica and their children Ava, Nicolas, Dominic and soon to be Luca John and daughter Taylor (Waters) Brinson and husband DJ.

Married on July 11 ^th , 1959, Jerry and Nancy spent sixty-four glorious years together. The Waters' lived in Dundalk, MD & Hanover, PA prior to moving to the Lost Lakes Community in Cocoa Florida in June of 2000, where they became members of the First Christian Church, Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Jerry proudly served his country in the Army Airborne's 101 ^st Division, (Screaming Eagles) and continued serving his community as a Lieutenant in the Baltimore County Fire Department for 27 years.

Jerry enjoyed boating, fishing and mission trips with his church, was a supporter of many charitable organizations and an avid Ravens fan.

A family Memorial and Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date yet to be determined.
