Gerald William Zaccardi, 78, passed away in Port Orange, FL on Thursday August 5, 2021.

He was the son of the late William and Pheobe Zaccardi of Norfolk, MA. He is survived by his beloved

wife Sandra (Barnes) Zaccardi with whom he shared 49 years together. Gerald was born in Boston, MA but raised

in Norfolk, MA. He was a graduate of King Phillip High School. He served four years with the US Air Force, much of that

in Germany. He later worked for the Commonwealth of Mass for many years.  He was an avid reader, loved The Boston Bruins,

fishing the canal and music of all types.

Gerald is survived by three step-children. Kristan (Gerald) Cunningham of Abington, MA, Mark (Beverly) Barnes of Lakeville, MA

and Susan (Thomas) McCoy of Middleboro, MA, 6 grandchildren and 2 great -grandchildren. He was predeceased by stepson,

Steven Gary Barnes, grandson, Jason McCoy and grandson, David Barnes.

Gerald is also survived by 3 brothers, Phillip (Dottie) Zaccardi of Port Orange, FL, William and James (Tiffany) of Norfolk, MA and

3 sisters, Carol (Bob) Thibeault and Patricia (Jim) Duarte of Plainville, MA and Jeanne Wall of Norfolk, MA and several nieces and

nephews.  He was also predeceased by sister-in-law Marcia Zaccardi.

Burial will be at a later date at the Bourne National Cemetery.
