Geri Dodds, 73, of the Villages, Florida passed away on June 16, 2017 at her home. Geri was born in Traverse City, Michigan, lived in Whiting, Indiana; Erie, Pennsylvania; Franklin, Wisconsin and moved to the Villages in 2003 from Greendale, Wisconsin where she had lived for 30 years. Geri was especially proud to have been a stewardess for Eastern Airlines and in her later life a department manager for JC Penny Co. She was a senior student and graduate of Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. Geri was very involved in the lives of her five children and especially enjoyed attending athletic events that the children were participating in. She enjoyed her years at her cottage on the Chain of Lakes in Waupaca, dining out and celebrating the holidays, Christmas was always very special to her. Her summer house in Honor, Michigan provided relaxation and family enjoyment in her later years. Geri took up golf in her senior years and loved to play with her friends. She made three holes in one at the Villages. Geri leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of fifty-one years, Walter, children Michael, Jeffrey, Karin, David and Kristin, eight grandchildren, her brother Richard Blohm and her many friends in Wisconsin and Florida. A celebration of her life will be held on July 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Greendale Community Church, Greendale, Wisconsin.
