A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN WITH A HEART OF GOLD

Geraldine N. Murrell was born in Jacksonville, FL on October 30, 1943, as the first born to the late Robert Jackson and Dorthy Lee Spellers.  She was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie J. Murrell for 57 years.  Geraldine transitioned home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Geraldine received her high school diploma at Northwestern High School, Jacksonville, FL.

Geraldine was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend.  She loved her family dearly and was a genuine supporter in her family's and friends' activities.  Geraldine loves to plant flowers and was an awesome cook.  She was known for baking delicious cakes (especially Hummingbird cakes).

She is preceded in death by her sister, Valann Spellers-Grady.

Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Willie J. Murrell; sister, Dorothy Marie Spellers; sister, Deborah Ross; niece, Jeanna Spellers; nephew, JeMarc Sears (Morgan), nephew Joseph Barbier (Louisa); niece, Zipporah McCray-Grady; nephew, Earl Jefferson, Jr. and a host of other nieces, nephews.
