Obituary

Gerard John Petillo, 70, made his final transition the afternoon of July 9, 2024, in Port Orange, FL.

Gerard was born on May 12, 1954, in Jersey City to John Petillo, Sr. and Margaret Feeley. Though he spent the majority of his life in New Jersey, Gerard enjoyed his retirement and final years of life with his wife in Florida. He is remembered for his love of basketball, the beach, and above all his daughters and grandchildren.

Gerard is survived by wife Marleny Petillo, daughters Alexandra and Erica Petillo, grandchildren Anthony and Audrina Mortenson, and brothers John Petillo, Jr. and Robert Petillo. He was predeceased by his father, John Petillo, Sr. and mother, Margaret Feeley.

Visitation for Gerard will be held on July 19, 2024, at Baldwin Brothers Funeral & Cremation Society starting at 11am, followed by a funeral service at 12:30pm, at the Baldwin Brothers Ormond Beach Chapel. Baldwin Brothers is located at 1185 W Granada Blvd. #11 Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
