Gerhard (Gary)
Laubner
February 15, 2021
Gerhard (Gary) Laubner
Ocala – Gerhard Laubner of Ocala, Florida went to be with his Lord and Savior on February 15, 2021
On May 11, 1927, in Valhalla, New York, Gary was born to Paul and Clara Laubner. Gary served in the US Navy as a Seabee at the end of World War II. Gary was an electrician by trade but was very skilled at woodworking, leather craft and jewelry making. Gary was a very kind and quiet man that, even in his 90's, tried to help any one in need and had the amazing ability to fix things, or create a tool to do a special task. He had a special twinkle in his eye and a little smile after solving a problem or creating one of his works of art and kept this twinkle in his eye all the way to the end of his journey.
Gary is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Heater (Laubner); parents, Paul and Clara Laubner; and his only sister, Melina Laubner Buno MacAllister.
Although Gary had no biological children of his own, he showed love and care to many, including his three step-daughters (through his marriage with Dorothy): Sandra Harris (Gries), Michelle Gries, and Virginia Belker (Gries) and their children and grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place Chapel, Ocala, Florida. www.BaldwinCremation.com
