Giancarlo Bologna, age 42, died of Cardiac Arrest on May 31st, 2023, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Giancarlo is survived by his mother, Gerda Bologna, of Leesburg, Florida; his sister, Silvana Anderton, of Henderson, Nevada; his nephews, Michael and Dylan Drolet, of Orlando, Florida; his aunt, Karen Cordes, of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; his brother-in-law, Forrest Anderton, of Henderson, Nevada; his cousin, Michael Hayden, of Seattle, Washington; and his childhood best friends, Justin Mayer, of Huntington, New York, and Massimo Pennisi, of Los Angeles, California; and he is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Michael Francis Drolet, of Huntington, New York.

Giancarlo was born on January 5th, 1981, in Goshen, New York, to parents Gerda and Philip Bologna. He spent his childhood growing up on Long Island, New York in a town named Huntington in Suffolk County. In 1998, he moved to Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania, where he worked for more than 8 years at Mount Airy Casino Resort as a Sous Chef. In 2016, he relocated to Orlando, Florida, to attend Full Sail University, where he graduated in 2021 with degrees in Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Master of Science in Entertainment Business.

Giancarlo was a social, and spiritual man who enjoyed gaming with friends, abstract drawing, creating exotic meals and was an animal lover. His family and friends will always remember him as a dreamer, funny, intelligent, loving, witty, charismatic and could make anyone laugh. There will be a memorial ocean ash scattering service held privately by his family and friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and deep gratitude for all expressions of sympathy and acts of kindness shown during this time of bereavement.
