Giuseppina "Josephine" Leuzzi, 85 of Ormond Beach Florida died on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, after a short illness. A 46-year local resident, she was born in Italy on September 24, 1939, the daughter of Pasquale and Lavinia (Mirra) Filoia.

She obtained her cosmetology degree in New York, and then moved to Florida, where she opened her beauty salon, Sheer Vanity in Ormond Beach.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Joseph, of Ormond Beach, Donald, Jr. (Sara) of Winter Springs, and Delissa Sabo of Ormond Beach. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Dora, of Ormond Beach, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her greatest accomplishment was her family and the title of Nana to her three grandchildren Brittany, Vinnie and Gabrielle and Nona to great grandson Brayden and great granddaughter Josephine.

She was predeceased by her husband Donald, Sr., sisters Frances Bocchino, Rosalba Adney, Immacolata Tacinelli, brother Carmine Filoia, and granddaughter Raquel Sabo.

A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 4th at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Ormond Beach. The family will receive friends immediately following the mass in the church's social hall. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Baldwin Brothers, Ormond Beach.
