GLADYS IRENE BLANCHARD

September 16, 1932 – May 23, 2025

New Smyrna Beach – Gladys Blanchard was the fourth child of five children born to Constant Kuehn (pronounced Keen) and Irene Anna Wagner. Beloved wife of the late Harold Blanchard. She is survived by her daughter Gilda (Timo) Siimes, her three nieces Cherie (Michael) Wichelns, Cathleen (Darnell) Littleton, and Dorothy Garrett, her three nephews, James (the late Catherine) Alexander, James Garrett, and John (Linda) Garrett, along with eleven of their children and twelve of their grandchildren.

Gladys devoted her life to the work that Jesus commanded Christians to do in Matthew 28:19, namely "to make disciples of people of all the nations." She maintained her spiritual habits of reading and studying the Bible thoroughly in order to carry out that disciple making work with love, patience and skill. When she passed away at age 92 she was comforted to know that God would not forget her work and the love she showed for His name.

A memorial service is planned for June 20th at 6:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 175 Sugar Mill Drive, New Smyrna Beach.
