Gladys Esteban Garcia of Orlando, FL., died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on March 20, 2017.  The funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Doral, Florida on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 11:00AM with graveside services following.

Gladys moved here from Miami in 1996 after a career of working as a social worker for the Catholic Charities of Miami.

Gladys is predeceased by her husband Rene Garcia and her oldest daughter, Luisa Garcia Flood.  She is survived by her children Frank Garcia, Elisa Garcia Gieseking, and son-in-law Thomas Gieseking, as well as her grandchildren Michael Gieseking and his wife Brenda Mendoza Gieseking, Ana Gieseking, Thomas Gieseking, and Anthony Garcia.
