Glenda Kay Love

Glenda Kay Love (Hanks) passed away peacefully Wednesday March 1, 2017 surrounded by family and friends in Ocala, FL.   Born March 7, 1939 in Tiptonville, TN; Glenda lived a full life; travelling the world as a loving Naval Officer's wife, being an awesome Mom to three daughters, and being the best Grandma.  She was the epitome of caring, welcoming, and was passionate about life.  She loved the music turned up and a place to dance.  Glenda was able to make a warm, loving home anywhere in the world; some of the places she called home included: Tiptonville, TN; Memphis, TN; Norfolk, VA; New Iberia, LA, Guam, Alameda, California, Providence, RI, Corpus Christi, TX; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Parkville, MO; Ocala, FL.  Glenda is survived by her loving husband, LCDR Ret John J Love; her daughters: Valerie, Laura, and April; two granddaughters: Rachelle and Meghan; and her three great granddaughters: Lexi, Ava, and Brynlee.   Glenda will be missed by her family and friends and all that had the fortune of meeting her.  May she rest in peace.  Glenda will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery the last week  of June 2017.
