• Glenn Alan Korzyn was born on January 25, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, only child of Vivian and Sidney Korzyn.
• Died January 4, 2024.
• Raised in Detroit, Glenn attended St. Alphonsus High School in Dearborn, graduated in 1963, and excelled in sports.
• Always a boy scout, Glenn's first job was working for the Boy Scouts.
• Earned SP5 rank and was honorably discharged from the Army in 1969.
• Achieved his BBA (U of M—Go Blue!) and MBA (EMU).
• Married Suzanne Himbeault in 1972.
• Loving Daddy to his four-legged girls, Sunshine and Shasta.
• Pursued a successful career in human resources working at iconic Detroit organizations, GMC, Kerr, Stroh Brewery, and Awrey Bakery, ultimately serving as Vice President; and leading his own consulting firm, Performance Concepts.
• Upon retirement, Glenn and Suzanne lived in Suttons Bay, MI, and wintered at their home in The Villages, FL.
• Engaged in extensive travel, international and domestic, for work and pleasure, including Europe; Emerald Isle, NC; and the entire Route 66.
• Simple pleasures included joy-riding in his convertibles with Suzanne, solving puzzles, developing complex spread sheets, cooking, collecting and reading legal thrillers, watching his Wolverines win, and helping friends and family with tasks big and small.

Glenn is remembered by family and dear friends for his genuine friendliness and ability to connect with others; his love of his Polish roots; his clever and creative ways, whether fixing a problem or telling a good joke; his generosity and big heart; his joy in taking irreverent views; and his total loyalty to those he loved, especially Suzanne.  He is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne; sister-and brother-in-law, Simone and Brad Taylor; the Cylkowski family; and dear friends he considered family.

Glenn valued his service to his country and requested to be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at 4200 Belford Road.  Glenn's remains will rest in a personalized urn created by his cousin, Paul.  The ceremony with military honors is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm, where family and friends will gather to join Glenn's loving Suzanne in remembering him.  Gifts in Glenn's memory may be made to the Father Fred Foundation, 826 Hastings, Traverse City, MI, 49686.
