Glenn G. Poropat, age 68, of The Villages, Florida, was carried by the angels to Heaven on January 4, 2021, after a valiant battle with COVID-19.

Born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Edward and Estelle, Glenn is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Vivian; beloved children, Julie and Douglas (Jenelle); dear siblings Edward (Judith), Cora (the late Robert) Tomanich and the late Marcia; in-laws, Barbara (Jim), the late Patricia, the late Fred (Miki); numerous nieces/nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 29, 2021 (11:00 a.m.) at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E CR 462, Wildwood, FL 34785. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be left at Baldwincremation.com

Glenn was a loyal friend to many. In consideration of all those whose lives he touched and due to the current COVID situation, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thank you to all for the outpouring of love and support…your kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
