Glenn W. Steigerwalt, 79 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, at Mariposa Hospice after a short battle with cancer.

Glenn was the son of the late William L. Steigerwalt and Erma E (Houser) Steigerwalt of West Penn Township, PA, and Irmo, SC.

Glenn's life and career took him many places. He was born and raised in West Penn Township, PA and graduated college from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He lived and worked in Minneapolis, MN, the Quad Cities and Des Moines, IA, and finally The Villages, FL, and leaves behind beloved family and friends in all of these locations.

He was an employee and/or officer of companies ranging from Honeywell, Gillette, Sears Manufacturing, John Deere and Wells Fargo. He also served in the National Guard.

He is survived by; his daughter Kristin (Ryan) DeGard of Los Angeles, CA and his two grandchildren, Brady & Addison, his fiancé, Barbara Beerling of The Villages, FL, their four-legged companion, Precious, and her family, his sister Lynnette (Lenny) Schoener of Camp Hill, PA., his former wife Chris (Nancarrow) Steigerwalt of Des Moines, IA, nieces Lisa (Brad) Smith, Trina (Jeremy) Beasley, Sheila (Chris) Fetter and their families.

Glenn is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sharon (Robert) Everett of The Villages, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be planned for a future date.
