Gloria Maria Roque Arencibia 92, was born August 24, 1927 in Ciego de Avilla, Cuba and passed away April 11, 2020 in Altamonte Springs, FL. She was the beloved wife of Edelmiro Arencibia of Matanzas, Cuba for 67 years.

She started her family life in Guatemala and 9 years later came to live in the United States for the first time.  She was a nutritional specialist at the hospital for 21 years until she retired.  She loved to travel and try new adventures with her husband.  She loved to sew beautiful outfits for her daughters and herself.  She loved to cook, bake, and try new combinations.  She loved her extended family very much.

She is survived by her husband and their two daughters and husbands, Myra and Dan Garza and Ilsia and John Szczepanski; as well as her three grandchildren, Sarah Padgett, Andrew Garza, and Anthony Garza; and three great granddaughters Victoria Padgett, Evalee Kennedy, and Zoey Kennedy.
