Gloria Jean (Freshour) Foos was greeted at the gates of Heaven by Jesus on March 27, 2023. Gloria was born September 4, 1941 to Morris and Jessie (Rall) Stoner in Gary, Indiana and lived in Michigan. In January of 1959, she married Lawrence (Larry) Freshour who preceded her in death September 1995.

In August of 1996, in Sturgis, South Dakota, she married Jack L. Foos, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Donna (Tom) Ivey, Palm Coast, FL, two step-daughters, Kim (Larry) Biddle, Osceola, IN and Tanya Ryan, Mishawaka, IN, four step-grandchildren, five step great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, one husband, one sister Joyce (Harold) Olivier and Joyce's husband, Harold Olivier.

Gloria was employed by John Smith of Hoosier Realty Co. for 35 years as bookkeeper, secretary, and Smith Appliance for 5 years.

She was a member of VFW Ladies Mishawaka Auxiliary 360, American Legion Auxiliary, Hess Eastman 174 of Lawrence, MI. She was a past member of FOE – Auxiliary 2439 of LaPorte, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the LaPorte County Animal Shelter or the donor's choice.
