Gloria Jane Hoop was called home on the morning of Monday, August 8, 2022 in Port Charlotte, Florida. Gloria was beautiful, loving, fun, kind, and creative. She loved her animals, crocheting, friends, and family. She was a wonderful cook and spent much of her time crafting for others. Her laughter and smile were infectious, and drew others to her. Originally from New Jersey, Gloria attended Southern Regional High School, and later Ocean County College before marrying and becoming a mother. She later moved to Florida where she worked at Sun Bank for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Evelyn Nebiolo;  survived by her partner of many years, Doug George, her three children, Michael and Jason DeRosa, Kristy Salkewicz, and her four grandchildren. Abiding by her wishes no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please remember Gloria by donating to your favorite animal charity, as she loved her pets.
